Eligible Island students enrolled in full-time studies at UPEI, Holland College, Collège Acadie Î.-P-É., or Maritime Christian College may be eligible for bursaries and awards offered by the Government of Prince Edward Island. There is no application for these awards. The post-secondary institution will send a list of eligible students to Student Financial Services for review.

For eligible students, the award is conditionally credited to the student's school account in January. The funds are released after the student has been enrolled for 24 continuous weeks, usually the end of February.

In some instances, a student's name is not included on the award list. If your name was not included on the award list and you feel you are eligible, please submit an appeal form no later than August 31 of your eligible year. This deadline is strictly enforced. Please contact the Student Services department at your educational institution to obtain an appeal form.
